How Ad-Vantage collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit ad-advantage.com or ask us for a strategy call.
1. Who we are
Ad-Vantage is a founder-led digital marketing studio that provides SEO, paid advertising and conversion-focused websites for small and growing businesses. In this policy, “Ad-Vantage”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ad-Vantage and its founders, who operate ad-advantage.com.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at advantageyash@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to enquiries and to run and improve this website.
- Information you give us: your name, email address and phone number when you request a strategy call, plus anything you choose to tell us when you email us or speak with us.
- Booking details: if you pick a time on our Google Calendar booking page, Google handles that booking and we receive the details you enter there.
- Campaign and page details: the page you submitted the form from and any UTM campaign parameters in the link you used (source, medium, campaign, term and content), so we know which marketing channel brought you here.
- Usage data: pages visited, approximate location, referring site, browser and device type, and similar technical information collected by our analytics tools.
- Technical data: IP address and request logs generated by our hosting provider when you load the site.
We do not ask for payment card details, government identifiers or other sensitive personal data through this website, and we ask that you do not send them to us.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, schedule and run your strategy call, and follow up about our services.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring useful enquiries, and to improve the website and our marketing.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix technical problems.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We only send marketing emails to people who have enquired about our services or asked to hear from us, and every such message includes a way to opt out.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where the law of your location requires a legal basis (for example, the EU and UK GDPR), we rely on: your consent when you submit a form or accept analytics cookies; our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving our business; the steps needed to respond to a request you make before entering into a contract; and compliance with legal obligations.
For visitors in India, we process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, on the basis of the consent you give when you submit your details, and for the limited legitimate uses the Act recognises.
7. International transfers
We are based in India, and the providers listed above may process data in India, the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections, as required by applicable law.
8. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any resulting client relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it. Analytics data is retained according to the settings and policies of the analytics provider.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before).
- Receive your information in a portable format.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf, or make a grievance (India).
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email advantageyash@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we aim to respond within 30 days.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on the systems that store enquiries, and spam protection on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
This website is intended for business owners and professionals. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other websites
Our website links to third-party sites, including LinkedIn and Google Calendar. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before giving them your information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice on this page.
